Hi,

Where the new drag and drop comes in handy is when dragging and dropping from 1 
window to another.  The trick is, both the spot where the item is being dragged 
from, and the spot where it will be dropped, must be visible on the screen.  I 
must say, besides Mail, I haven't really found a compelling reason to use this 
over cut and paste.  Although, I guess there might be many users who have apps 
where this method comes in more handy.
