I have an iPhone and an iPad and a Kindle. I am not lacking for ways to read
kindle books. But I was playing around with the Cloud Reader and wondered if
it could be made to read more normally instead of choppily reading each word
separately. Interestingly, if I mute voiceover and read with my braille
display, it is quite possible to read though I haven't experimented with any
kind of skipping around or moving from one section to another. But I wondered:
Is it possible to have the sound more like reading a book normally? I would be
interested in comments from anybody who has played with this. Maybe Amazon
wouldn't want it to read too smoothly with voiceover lest somebody should
record it. Using select all and allowing audio reading to go on this way does
produce reading but there is a pause after each and every word much of the
time. Occasionally it does seem to read a section normally. Moving with vo-keys
and arrows does allow you to read somewhat faster. Does anybody use Cloud
Reader frequently and if so have you found any tips and tricks for using it?
