Hi all
Is it normal that braille displays have difficulties when doing work in
numbers? Voiceover is speaking everything but my braille display doesn’t always
show the contents of the table cells. The braile display is following when I
use the Numpad to navigate. But it doesn’t follow if I use juist the arrow
keys, which I prefer, because I can reach the first cell of each column
securely this way and am not wrapping around. The display however follows again
if I write something into a cell.
Also, unfortunately I see a lot of informations on the braille display I don’t
really need to read at all and which is a waste of space.
Par example the first cell of each column voice over reads something like this:
"Cell 1 title cell“. I’m pleased to hear this voiceover announcement, but I
don’t really need to read it as well on the braille display. I’d rather to have
just the contents of as many cells I can on the display.
I’m in the comfortable situation to have an 80-cell display available. But
amazingly enough i can’t really benefit from this device when working in
numbers.
I hope you get the gist of what I’m trying to describe here.
Thanks for your help and kind regards
Ben
