Just before receiving my new iMac last Friday, my previous machine died on the
Wednesday, just didn’t want to wake after a power blackout.
I was so relieved that my backup disc is in good shape, and that I had also set
up an older 2008 Macbook with my mail account and inportant information.
This experience definitely assured me that backing up is essential, perhaps
even if you are using the cloud.
