Well hmmm, when I called customer service yesterday they talked like I could hook to dialup. It has a place for a phone line to hook to it. I'm unalbe to get wireless internet where I'm located. Hmmm, what to do now. Is there a way I can hook it to my desktop computer and use the internet?

Hello,Sorry to say, but the USB Modem is no longer being sold by Apple. I just confirmed this both online as well as through the Apple store. With the demise of dial up services, I can certainly understand this. Also, because of the large sizes of applications today, for example the Mac Combo upgrade is over 1 GB in size. Wow!
