Even though my computer seem to be running fine after I upgraded to mountain
lion, I decided to repair permissions. Sure enough, some permissions did need
repairing. So since I don't recall a message from Keith saying this yet, as he
almost always does, I will go ahead and say it: be sure to repair permissions
after you upgrade even if you don't think anything is wrong.
