[macvoiceover] Adjusting VO voice tone

I'm going deaf and am looking for some sort of control within VO to change the
crispness of the consonants. Otherwise, i have to turn up the volume really
high to hear the high-end consonants and that in turn will damage my hearing
more over time.
Alternatively, has anyone seen an adapter that fastens the ear buds to the top
of a hearing aid where the microphone is?
