It’s probably easier if you use a network connection or a external hard
drive. You could connect them via USB I would think, but if you are on a
network, you should be able to transfer data that way. If you have Dropbox, you
could even transfer your data little by little that way.

You can just copy and paste as long as the drive you are connecting is not
NTFS. Otherwise, it’s like copying any other data to the Mac.
