Hi,

Screen curtain actually makes no difference at all. Turning this on doesn't
actually dim the screen. Its more like just having a black picture displayed.
Turning screen brightness to 0% is the best way to conserve battery life.

I bought the 11-inch Air in November. The battery life is about 5 hours, but it
hardly uses any battery power when it sleeps. The newer one probably has even
longer battery life. I don't turn screen curtain on so I'm not sure if that
makes a huge difference.
