Lena,
I have a macbook air of about the same age. After I upgraded the computer to
Sierra it was noticeably slower. Mail is not as responsive which was the
main problem. It is the laptop I use from time to time. If it were my main
computer It would be a problem. If I had it to do over again I would not
have upgraded the older computer.

Hi
My MacBook Pro 2010 model is eligible for the Sierra update. How is
everyone finding the update? Regarding performance on an older Mac?
I’m trying to decide whither I should go for it. I am thinking that is is
probably the last update my old computer will support.
