You'll need to learn the keystrokes for the mail program and that will make it 
much much easier. Here are some of the commands:

command plus r is reply to sender
shift command r is reply to all
shift command d is send
shift command f is forward
just hitting the delete key will delete the message

Those should help you get started. Hope this helps.
