I won't use logic at the moment as I'm so used to GB. I grasped it in about
maybe 2 weeks. There is a learning curve, however 4 semesters of sound
engineering class helped me a lot as we worked with pro tools.

Here is a little guide on GB that may be of some help to you.

Hi all,
I want to record music, with vocal and instrument tracks, then be able
to mix them.
I have had a look at Garage Band, but it really confuses me.
I play my own instruments, so don't need any of the smart instruments etc.
Any suggestions appreciated.
I'm looking for something that will allow me to mix multiple tracks,
strip out silences, trim audio etc.
Cheers,
Jen.
