Hi all.
I’m a professional self-employed musician from the UK, and I’m just making the
switch from Windows to Mac.
I’ve literally been learning, what I initially thought would be a mountain way
too hight for me to climb, just two weeks ago, and I’m actually getting to
grips with it quicker than I expected, and am really enjoying it so far!
I have a couple of questions please:
I’m using a MacBook Air 11, which was running El Capitan. I upgraded it just
yesterday to High Sierra in order to obtain and configure Siri, but have found
that I can’t navigate around in quite the same way, such as in Mail for
instance, which has obviously thrown me, what with everything being so new etc.
Also, since the upgrade, voice-over is now announcing the size and colour of,
presumably, text, when I’m navigating using VO and the arrow keys, before
announcing what the item is I’ve lanced on, which is a little frustrating; how
can I resolve this please?
I’m sure I’ll have lots more questions as I learn, especially with regards word
processing and spreadsheets, as well as accessible music and editing software
etc.
