Barbara, thanks I suspected that was the port but I was so beat up after
work yesterday that I forgot to take the plastic cap off of the magnetic
connector.

Looking at your Mac book air on the left side of the Mac run your finger
all the way toward the back. the very last indentation you feel is
magnetic not a port you insert something into. This is where you charge
your device. It will feel like suction as you put the charger near it.
Not a great description but hope it helps.

Hi all, we just got a 11 inch Mac Book Air here and I am a little
puzzled.
Can anyone tell me where you plug the charger in on it. I feel two ports
on each side including one USb port on each side. I think the other port
on the right side is the thunderbolt port. On the left I feel a
headphone jack and one USB port and another port nearest the back of the
unit which I can't identify. Any help would be appreciated.
