For those who may be interested.
I’ve been using a Caldigit Thunderbolt 3 dock with my MacBook Pro for several
weeks now and have enjoyed the experience thus far, as I commented at the time
I find it absolutely amazing that you can addd so much power and flexibility to
your MacBook Pro with one of these docks through the use of a cable from the
MacBook to the Dock.
I also recently purchased a Crucial 1TB SSD drive for porting data between
Windows And Mac - I have a HP Spectre X360 with Thunderbolt 3 and use NTFS on
my Mac to convert data to NTFS format -,
So to the point and I got quite a shock when I saw the results for myself.
I copied 260GB of data from the MacBook Pro to the Crucial drive connected to
the Thunderbolt dock in around 4 minutes.
Of course I didn’t expect such a speed and I could probably up the speed if I
optimised my MacBook.
