Dec 31 New Year's Dance

"The ARK" - the highly acclaimed musical by Michael McLean will be presented
by the Boise Institute March 18-30. Open auditions are for those 18 to 30.
Older adults may audition for the part of Noah and his wife. Music, to be
sung at auditions, may be picked up at the Institute beginning December 18.
Call Brother Spjute 344-8549 if you have any questions.

Institute registration is going on now. All young adults age 18-30 have been
invited by the prophet to enroll in institute. Pick up a schedule at the
institute or call 344-8549 to have one mailed to you.

Teens ring in the New Years safe and drug free!
Dec 31, 8:00 p.m. till midnight is "First Night Garage Party" in the City
Hall Parking Garage (will be heated). All teens are invited. There will be a
battle of the bands ---No Full Moon, The Hectics, the Go-Getters, and the
Randy Peck Quartet---, games, cheap food, dancing, interactive arts, and
lots more.

Adult Religion Classes sponsored by BYU will begin in our area during
January. Primary and Sunday School teachers who are unable to attend the
Gospel Doctrine class on Sunday will note that the same curriculum, Old
Testament, is being offered at several different locations, beginning dates,
and cost, an Adult Religion schedule is posted on the ward bulletin board.
Registration takes place at the first class.

Volley Ball is starting for all interested women. Practice will be held
Thursday, Jan 3, from 10:30 to 11:30, at the Stake Center. Second practice
is Jan 10, same time same place.
