I think Mike’s opinion was that most of the newer Lua version’s features
are not that important or beneficial to implement in LuaJIT.
Maybe that development is also one of the reason development stalled.
That being said I might to a RISCV port, in case someone needs that and
wants to contribute to funding just let me know!
