I do not know specifically about this error but I know these kind
heisen-bugs are annoying and one cannot event report them properly.
I was wondering if the rr debugger, here the page
https://rr-project.org/, could help. You could always run you
application with rr and once the bug happens you have a deterministic
image that you can replay and debug the image as you want.
