Hi Mike, I'd like to get a reference to the metatable set via ffi.metatype() far away from where it is set (for type checking, etc.). I've given it a shot and attached a patch, but it's pretty much cargo-culted, so not sure if it's sane. If you think it useful, can that be added to the FFI please? Cheers, Richard
