So LSR didn't even recreate the .lsr folder? Strange. I wonder if there's a permission problem that is causing it to fail but we're not seeing it until later in the process for some reason.

The directory .lsr did in fact exist. Deleting it and rerunning lsr did nothing other than the exception I got last time. Very strange.
