[loulug] Tonite's Meeting

I hope that everyone's UPS's are in working order as to not suffer any
downtime due to heat related energy issues. And for those of us without
UPS's, it's just an excuse to not work.
There will not be a LOULUG meeting tonite as discussed last week. I'm not
exactly sure how many people were planning on attending but I did not get
all the information needed to discuss beginning of the year activities. But
maybe some of you can help me with that.
As many of you are aware, the semester starts August 20th, and with the
start of any school year there are a handful of student organization fairs.
I was hoping some of you guys could help if figuring out when those meetings
are and who would be interested in sitting at a table for that and talking
with students. To help attract attention, I was wondering if any of you all
handle a plethora of live cd's to hand out or maybe even the FOSS cd that
was made a year or two ago. I'm gonna try and get in touch with whoever to
make sure we can get a table for these events. What are anyone's ideas and
thoughts on the matter? Also, we should go ahead and schedule a meeting for
September so we can print up flyers and distribute them.
