Very nice list. I am usually too early when I pass BG trail, but would love
to see Bay Skippers again and Dusky-blue Groundstreaks in Louisiana.
I also spent a nice Saturday in Cameron. I started at Peveto around 8AM and
spent a few hours looking for birds and butterflies. Thank goodness for
butterflies and other stuff because the birding was very slow. I started
with the dunes along Hwy 82 looking for Ceranus Blue. I always hope to find
them, but have not had any luck since I found them there in 2013. I
remember finding 52 along a mile of sand dunes that year. I spent most of
my day at 3 locations and borrow Craig's coding for the list below. Peveto
Woods (PW), Broussard Beach (BB), and Cameron Prairie (CP).
The best find for me was Eastern Pygmy Blues at Broussard Beach and within
a few yards of Western Pygmy Blues, which I see often.
