I am pleased to confirm that this is now all booked for us at the Derwent Water
Arms Calver. The lady did say that should you not wish to have the Christmas
menu then the ordinary menu would also be available.
There will be 10 of us unless anyone else decides that they wish to come. This
would, of course, be subject to availability.

I hope that I have not missed any emails but think that for the time being is
it. Incidentally, my experience of the pub is that the portions are very
generous. Although a couple of you have already made a selection of two courses
that it not actually needed till nearer the time.
Best wishes and looking forward to a good meal in excellent company. There will
be a walk beforehand which, of course, you can come on whether or not you can
stay to eat. A deposit has not been requested but they do know who I am! I am
not sure how we will pay on the day but, in order to keep things simple would
you try to remember to pay for drinks separately and not add them to the bill.
