Dammit, guys.....you're supposed to be the Ones Who Know. And I KNOW I had
a CD with a woman (NOT Melanie, but someone like, famous, whose name is or
was a household name, doing this song) someone who made it famous. I would
have SWORN it was Baez, but I can't find the damned CD it's probably being used
as a floor mat by my step-daughter in my husband's jeep. Okay. On the same
CD, the same woman sang Summertime.....

Yup, that's the song, and it's too cute. But she's not the one who
popularized it. A more famous name in the 60's or 70's did and my brain is
swiss
