There was actually a little boy named Peter. I can't recall whether
Barrie was related to him or he was the son of a friend. Barrie dressed
him up like Peter Pan and took some photos of him. The young boy grew
to hate being compared to Peter Pan. People wouldn't let him forget
it. Eventually in not quite old age he committed suicide by jumping in
front of a train.
