Ancient history.
During the night it came to me what Omar may have been remembering, a
memory I suppressed long ago. Yes, we used to have “chiders,” people who
wrote to remind you of the rules if, for example, you exceeded the three
post a day limit. And yes, I was asked to be one. And then there was a
fuss, with someone threatening to sue. I recall resigning.
Since then, we’ve managed without.
