What an excellent thought!
"Love thy neighbour (at least) as you love thyself (if not more)"
Italian 'vicino'. As in "Celeste Aida" -- 'vicino al sol', next to the sun.
In some dialects, the 'neigh' of neighbour is so understood that they refer
to "El Barrio" as 'the 'hood'.
Don't you find the expression 'outer city' (vs. innercity) hateful? Is there
one?
