[lit-ideas] Tendo Achillis

I don't know the bonus, but I love 'tendo  achillii' (The Romans used, 
wittily, no capitals). It's the mark of masculinity:  Apollo is not the hero of 
masculinity because he is no man, he is a god. Achille  is half-god (that 
mother 
of his) but he had the v. masculine 'tendo', all from  Peleo, his papa. 

To be masculine is to have a 'tendo'. Cfr. "Adam's  apple".
