In Tennessee attempted suicide is a misdemeanor, but successful suicide is
a capital crime -- or so I take it. Don't fuck up is the message from the
state of Tennessee unless your want to do time. The old saying that
suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem has some merit, so
does the new saying by me that a dead. man doesn't know that he's dead.
That's the bitch about death -- not knowing you're dead. What's the sense
in life if you don't know you're no longer alive? A suicider would never
know he doesn't have to deal with all that shit anymore -- so where's the
comfort in that? I would demand to know. I gave up my life to have an end
to this absurdity and you want even let me know that it's all over????
That's what frightens me about suicide, I that I would never know I had
committed suicide. I'd never know that my problems were over. To hell
with that I rather live in misery knowing how miserable I am.
