I've been eating yogurt with. Strange
what they like now they've left the wolves
and come in from the cold.
Peanut butter.
Avocados.
Grapes.
Potting soil.
Socks.
Shoes.
Underwear.
Bamboo shoots.
Book covers.
Soap.
Most
of the edible trappings
of civilization.
'We'll have what you're having,' they say,
'but we miss the cave, and the moon
and the gray wolf with the scars
on his muzzle.'
