I would be very surprised if anyone on this list would be surprised to
learn that I am the closest that one can be to being a bombless
bomb-throwing-socialist-pacifist. As such, one would probably not be
surprised to learn that I am very disgruntled by Trump's victory, but not
surprised, no, and not yet suicidal. The bizarre thing about American
politics is that working-class white people, especially Southern whites,
will vote against their own self-interest if they perceive a sweet bon-bon
of bigotry against black people in the offing. That's what Trump offered,
not in so many words, but one could certainly smell the treat. On behalf
of sane America, I apologize to the world for any war that this little Nazi
might spur on. At least I'm too old to have to go soldier-up. Do you hear
me, Donnie? I can't protect you against all those Mexicans and Muslims and
Environmentalists and Women. Ach. I must go hibernate now. Good luck,
world. Hopefully Trump will get his hand caught in some woman's pussy and
be unable to put his hand on the Bible for the swearing-in as President.
Surely some woman is willing to make such a sacrifice for America. I
