I particularly enjoyed the list of mead names.
Braggot — Braggot (also called bracket or brackett). Originally brewed with
honey and hops, later with honey and malt — with or without hops added. Welsh
origin (bragawd).
“Bring me a flagon of Brackett, there’s a luv.”
The Brackett and Flagon might be a good name for a pub.
My daughter, who is now the Executive Director (a.k.a. sole employee) of the
Northwest Cider Association is forever asking me to taste ciders and meads.
Not bad, some of them. And the variety!
