Here's a bit more on the Obama Ayers connection - from Wikipedia, indicating
that Ayers indeed helped launch Obama's political career: "Ayers and Dohrn
hosted a "meet-and-greet" political meeting for Obama at their home in the
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyde_Park,_Chicago> Hyde Park section of
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago> Chicago, where the Ayers and the
Obamas lived. (The meeting has also been called a fundraising event.

[7]) It was at this meeting that then State Senator Alice Palmer introduced
Barack Obama as her chosen candidate for the 1996 Democratic primary.

[8] Although the exact date of the meeting is not known, it was sometime in
the second half of 1995, according to Ben Smith, a reporter for The
Politico.

blog: "When I first met Barack Obama, he was giving a standard, innocuous
little talk in the living room of those two legends-in-their-own-minds, Bill
Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. They were launching him - introducing him to the
Hyde Park community as the best thing since sliced bread."

In Phil's continued search for viciousness I was asked once more for one
more explanation. Okay. Here is the note containing the alleged
viciousness:

"No, no, no, Julie. Not Six degrees. Not that much separation. Obama's
career was launched in Ayers home. They are buds - unless Obama has
recently renounced him the way he did the Reverend Wright.
<http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D92PL7400&show_article=1>
http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D92PL7400&show_article=1 He did
denounce Ayers Weather Underground acts, but apparently Ayers didn't - if he
wished he had bombed more. And Obama still occasionally exchanges ideas
with Ayers - according to Obama's statement.

Obama has launched a counter attack against the posters of an ad describing
the Obama-Ayers relationship.

"The fact that Barack Obama chose to launch his political career at the home
of an unrepentant terrorist raises more questions about Senator Obama's
judgment than any TV ad ever could," said McCain spokesman Brian Rogers.

I don't see why John and others are outraged. Obama is Left Wing. Ayers is
Left Wing. John is Left wing. They all hate America and want to become
like Europe. What's not to blow up? . . . er like?

By the time I wrote this, I was no longer taking the responses I received
seriously. They were poorly reasoned. I saw no reason to continue
seriousness. But to connect the dots:

Ayers, Obama, and John all three opposed American military activities in
recent years. All three believe in a form of government that is more
closely approximated in Europe, in Europe's Welfare State, than in the U.S.
And all three excuse Bill Ayers and consider him respectable even though he
said in 2001 that he wished he could have bombed more when he was at it in
the 60s. Ayers in his book indicated that he intended to bomb the White
House. Obama who hopes to go to the White House considers Ayers
respectable. Both Obama and John consider Ayers respectable. I found the
whole matter ludicrous and absurd.

Phil is cryptic and as Eric says, I am hyperbolic. I rather enjoy being
hyperbolic. I don't really care for cryptic.
