I grew up thinking that the Republicans were the heirs to all the "States' Rights" efforts in the south. Virginia still calls itself a "commonwealth." There is no civil war down there, just the "war between the states." So what's a good Republican President doing saying that a STATE supreme court is being "activist" in making decisions? Is he suggesting that the FEDERAL government should step in and put an end to these state laws?

Where are all the REAL Republicans these days? They were more fun to play with.
