Nay. You don't seem to understand -- tho' you try hard. 
 
It's not a matter of saying,
 
   "I too _may_ be wrong (but still love you)."
 
It has to be:

"I _am_ wrong -- but still love  you."
 
"May" opens new doors of, er, possibility.
 
I will reconsider the point you make about saying things wrong and not  
entailing (anything). Yes, some people are like that.
