While your solution is to string more red tape around the system, choking it further, so you can manage the outcome and not get into nasty ideas like human freedom. ______ Our difference seems to be where we locate "human freedom." You seem to think "human freedom" is located in the freedom of corporations to betray any national allegiance. I locate "human freedom" in individuals, many of whom are powerless against the economic circumstances of their time. After all, who is being "choked by red tape"? Corporations, who are fictional, chartered individuals. Whereas real flesh and blood individuals are often at the mercy of corporate actions and have little or no freedom of choice. I support freedom just as you do, but I don't locate freedom in corporate economic activity as exclusively as your arguments suggest you do. In fact, I see corporations--business activities chartered to act as individuals without the responsibilities of individuals--as one of the prime hindrances to human freedom. Maybe your experience shows you otherwise. If so, you should explain.
