What is absolutely bizarre about e-voting is that gets implemented without any input from computer scientists, security experts or programmers, all of whome think of it as a very bad idea with very few benefits. This has something to do with the way computer technology is perseived, no official or political leader in his right mind would think of commisioning a bridge without consulting a construction engineer, but when it comes to computer systems everybody is an expert.
