I never thought I'd support this idea, but it now seems a four hour televised
Award Ceremony, to thank all those who helped Adriano, might prove less
time-consuming and costly than the seemingly endless series of posts that
Adriano is otherwise obliged to send to the list. The opening speech at the
awards must thank all those who simply stuck to sourcing the quotation and did
not enter into explaining why it was a fairly throwaway and humorous remark by
Goethe that does not bear sustained examination.
