[lit-ideas] General invitation to next American Association of Philosophy Teachers workshop/conference

For those of you who might be interested, the American Association of Philosophy Teachers will be holding the 16th International Workshop/Conference on Teaching Philosophy from August 2-6, 2006 at Washington and Jefferson College, Washington, PA.

This group focuses on teaching philosophy on all levels.

For graduate students, the AAPT and the APA (American Philosphical Association) will be offering a jointly sponsored "Teaching Seminar in Philosophy" at the same time and place There is financial support for graduate students to attend. Graduate students will spend the morning together, attending specially designed sessions on teaching philosphy, and will have some time free to attend afternoon workshops.
