--------------------------------------------------------- Original message Invitation:All are invited to attend the 5th meeting of Queerical Up North. We unite students, as well as community members, to proactively examine society and intersections of race, class, gender, sexual orientation, ablebodiness, geographical location, language and culture through the lens of sexuality.
We explore artistic mediums such as film, television, children and adolescent literature, creative writing, poetry, collage, and painting. We offer community-based educational workshops, seminars, and presentations to promote social justice and increased understanding of heterosexism and homophobia. Participants may be of any sexuality, race, class, gender, ability, language and culture, etc. All are welcome!
