Dear m. Quine this you find in the (3rd) set of objections, in several cases
the texts are run together, easy to access is the edition (in modern English)
by Bennett.
Best regards

Subject: Searching for quote from Hobbes

I read somewhere that when Hobbes was asked to review Descartes, his riposte to
"I think, therefore I am" was to say "I think, therefore matter thinks."

I cannot find this quote anywhere now that I need it. Can anyone help?

Thanks!

- Thom
