The cartoons are changed daily, with the opportunity to look back a couple of
days if one has not been keeping up. As a teaser, I offer (with all due
respect, of course) the following proposal for an alternate version to one of
today's (Sunday, July 12, 2020) offerings on Gary Larson's website.
Replace the "Uh-oh." with "I shoulda known ..." in the 'thought bubble' above
the cartoon protagonist's head, and in the caption replace the name "Colonel
Saunders" with that of our very own "David Ritchie."
