John Candy. I thought it was hilarious too -- especially Stephen Wright's 
[with his accent] playing a Mountie.  And of course, obviously, the irony, 
encapsulated by the first mention of attacking Canada [here, by Andreas] is 
that Michael Moore WROTE [and directed] Canadian Bacon. I know, I know, I 
didn't need to point that out.

p.s. In answer to Robert Paul's confusion about where I've "gone off to": 
I've been breathing too many bleach fumes trying to clear a very "green" 
swimming pool. I'll clear up as soon as the water does.
