Sometimes one can follow reviews on Amazon like a thread, where someone's review of, say, a recording may lead to investigating what other recordings they recommend, and don't recommend, and what else besides they recommend and don't recommend. This is my excuse, while pursuing reviews for The Tokyo String Quartet playing Beethoven, for stumbling across the following. (None for passing it on, though it does contain the deathless "Written by a speech pathologist--and, equally important, a woman.." ). This review is from: The Low Down on Going Down: How to Give Her Mind-Blowing Oral Sex (Paperback) This how to manual is a godsend in every way imaginable. Written by a speech pathologist--and, equally important, a woman--the book manages to be both authoritative and serious while keeping the tone fun and light (as the author reminds us: "Nothing ruins sex as much as taking it too seriously."). Before plunging into the really good stuff in chapters 11-14, she takes us from the beginning: from first dates, to kissing (nine types), to oral exercises for the tongue, jaw, and lips. (Reader, don't let the first ten chapters put you off. When you reach chapter eleven, you're in the promised land.) As far as putting all this stuff into practice: it works and then some. Once you feel comfortable doing what she's taught, you'll find it unleashes all kinds of improvisatory riffs. (I'm now nearly the John Coltrane of cunnilingus.) Buy this book. Read it in entirety--not once but two or three times, and let the good times roll.
