Hi, Eric...
Someone is usually on the cutting edge--the one who is marking the trend.
Then there are those who follow behind--still ahead of the pack but behind
the one who is on the cutting edge, tracking and making the trend.
Following the Forward Thinking Followers are those who are slightly (only
slightly) ahead of the Pack. They are looking forward, seeking those who have
gone before--but checking, clarifying, marking well the changes...
The Pack. Rolling together sometimes but usually a cheerful bunch--willing
to go wherever as long as they are not alone...Sometimes one in The Pack (who
is probably slightly related to one who is a Forward Thinking Slightly Ahead
of the Pack type) will notice that the best direction to go is with those
slightly ahead (not as many bumps and snaps of branches when moving) -- and
that they have gone Slightly To The Side--and so they roll and swerve and
generally happily head in a different direction.
Stragglers--dislike being lumped together and not willing to utilize their
energy to blaze the trails and yet, wistfully and longingly (sometimes angrily,
too, sad to say) will only move towards The Pack when one (probably slightly
related to one who is a Straggling Slightly Behind the Pack type) in the
Pack notices that they are not keeping up as well as they might.
Tail Ends--never ever like moving. But, given their propensity to whine and
complain, they do eventually (reluctantly and with great dismay that one
part of the body is moving and not obeying the other part which wants to sit
and
wallow in misery) Join the Pack (only when it has stopped moving--either to
regroup or to take a break--for Packs need breaks--or to just Be--Packs need
to just Be sometimes, too)
When the Packs are regrouping, taking breaks or just be-ing...-- and often
paying attention to those who are Forward Thinking -- well, that is when Those
Like You on the cutting edge, the ones who *Know*--will return and be
dismayed that those who are Forward Thinking Followers (of the Trend Setters)
have
'discovered' something that they had seen ages upon ages (eons upon eons)
ago...
<sigh>
It surely is your lot in life and one would have thought that by now you
would be used to it.
But, I suppose for a Trend Setting Forward Thinking Always Moving Sort--it
is always new.
Just be aware that the Pack can only see you from afar and only when the Sun
is not in its eyes...so the Slightly Ahead Forward Thinking Followers have
to explain things more slowly for us...
