Puoi per prima cosa eliminare il network manager che è la più grande
puttanata che abbiano inventato in Ubuntu e configurare la rete staticamente
dal file interfaces.
~ # The loopback network interface
~ auto lo
~ iface lo inet loopback
~ allow-hotplug eth0
~ iface eth0 inet dhcp
~ auto wlan0
~ iface wlan0 inet dhcp
~ wpa-conf /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf
~ auto ppp0
~ iface ppp0 inet ppp
~ provider dsl-provider
Per il wireless installi wpasupplicant e wpagui e metti nel file
/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf le due righe:
ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant
update_config=1
Poi avvii wpa_gui e configuri la rete wireless salvando le impostazioni.
