Oggetto: [Lugbz-list] Running Debian Desktop in Containers

Hi,

I'd like to share my talk on DebConf22:
https://debconf22.debconf.org/talks/54-running-debian-desktop-in-containers/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MgxcBcTrXw
http://dashohoxha.fs.al/docs/debian-desktop-in-container.html

Usually containers are used to run services, but why not run a full desktop
on them? It is possible, it is useful (not just for testing), and it is more
efficient and convenient than using virtual machines. In this presentation I
demonstrate how to run different desktops (Xfce, LXDE, MATE, etc.) on
containers. I try both Docker and LXC/LXD containers.

I hope you will find it interesting.

Regards,
Dashamir
Quite interesting as usual, Dashamir. Thank you so much for sharing the links!

Best,
Paolo.
