Linuxtrent: Problemino con RPM

Sul sito RH c'è l'aggiornamento di apache. Ho scaricato l'rpm relativo, ma
quando cerco di installarlo mi da la sequenza di messaggi che segue:

RPM conflict error. The message was:

package shadow-utils-20000826-4 is already installed
Che cosa devo fare per risolvere?
Rimuovere shadow-utils e poi reinstallarlo insieme ad apache?
C'è da fidarsi a rimuovere il pacchetto? Dalla descrizione mi sembra di sì,
ma non ne sono sicuro.
