As I'm sure many of you have heard, microsoft.com's DNS server is down.
Moral of the story: don't run your mission-critical DNS server(s) on
Windows 2000.

But here's a funny comment about situation the from the slashdot user
comments on the story:

The bad: those of us stuck supporting M$ junk can't get our daily bug
fixes/workarounds.

The good: net congestion should drop dramatically, since we can't get our
daily bug fixes/workarounds.

I guess there's a silver lining to every cloud. :)

John
