Apparently Cirrus locks up access to the Linux distribution with purchase of an eval board. Last time I checked Cirrus was a silicon vendor using GPL code to facilitate sales of silicon. I don't know why they view the eval board and related GPL code as IP. Pretty odd from my perspective. > I have found that they are not very open with there development. I'm beginning to realize this. While perhaps not a violation of the GPL it certainly conflicts with the spirit of open development. I have seen such behavior from GPL software vendors but never from a silicon vendor. Way to go Cirrus. -- uhmgawa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx www.gnu.org
